According to police and eyewitnesses, young Ansh was returning home after playing and attempted to cross the road when the SUV struck him forcefully. Distracted Driving Allegations

Police Action and Legal Proceedings
Bandra Police swiftly took Rawal into custody following the incident. The police have registered a case against Megha Rawal under BNS Section 105 for culpable homicide not amounting to murder, Section 281 for rash driving, Section 125 for endangering life, and Section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act for dangerous driving.
Police officials confirmed that the vehicle is undergoing mechanical examination by Regional Transport Officers (RTO) to evaluate whether any mechanical failure contributed to the crash alongside driver negligence.
