Ahmedabad, July 12: An RPF jawan and bystanders saved the life of a woman who fell off the platform while catching a moving train. The mishap, which was captured in a CCTV camera, occurred at Ahmedabad railway station around 10:15 pm on Thursday. In the video, the woman is seen carrying a lot of baggage while trying to board a running train. The video of the incident is going viral on social media.
As seen in the video, the woman tries to board a running train carrying heavy luggage. She then slips into the gap between a train and the station platform. Bystanders and an officer of Railway Protection Force (RPF) rush to help her and save her life. She would have lost her life or suffered grievous injuries if they had not come to her rescue. While the RPF jawan and those who rushed to help the woman are being praised, some people pointed out that it was RPF official who had signalled her to catch the moving train.
