Lucknow, November 1: Aparna Yadav, daughter-in-law of Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has advocated for the construction of ‘Ram Mandir’ in Ayodhya. While speaking to Times Now, she said that everybody should respect the Supreme Court’s decision, but she wanted that the ‘Ram Mandir’ should be built. The Supreme Court on October 29 adjourned the Ayodhya case till January 2019.

The top court on Monday was to hear a batch of pleas challenging the Allahabad High Court's 2010 verdict by which the disputed land in Ayodhya was divided into three parts. Soon after the apex court’s decision to postpone the hearing, the political atmosphere in the country has started heating up. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday urged the public to hold patience on the ongoing Babri Masjid-Ram Mandir case and have trust on the Supreme Court. He further added, “The case is ongoing in the Supreme Court, and the court is independent. All the devotees must be patient and must trust the court," he said. Meanwhile, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi challenged the Narendra Modi government to bring an ordinance to build Ram Temple at the disputed site. He said, ‘Why don't they bring it (ordinance on Ram temple)? Let them do it. Every time they are threatening that they will bring an ordinance. Every Tom, Dick & Harry of BJP, RSS, VHP says this. Do it. You are in power. I challenge you to do it. Let us see.” However, The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) said that building the Ram Temple in Ayodhya would assure harmony in the country.
