Fatehabad, May 8: With the polling for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 for the sixth and seventh phase appearing closer, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made his attacks sharper on Congress. He took a swipe at Congress president Rahul Gandhi and stated that he has hurt the sentiments of Sikhs by making Kamal Nath the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, though he being involved in 1984 Anti-Sikh riots. PM Modi even alleged that Congress doesn't care about the sentiments of Sikhs.

Addressing a political rally in Fatehabad, he said, "Your chowkidaar had promised the Sikh community that 1984 riots culprits will be punished. I am satisfied that the process of them being sentenced to death or life imprisonment has started, " adding, "But this shameless Congress is awarding those who were a part of the crime. By making a person who is said to be involved in 1984 Anti-Sikh riots the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Congress has proved that it doesn't care about your sentiments." PM Narendra Modi is 'Modern Avatar of Aurangzeb', Says Sanjay Nirupam in Varanasi. 

Modi was also claimed that his party would ensure to send Rahul Gandhi to jail in his next government. He said, "This chowkidaar has taken the person who looted farmers to court. He is making rounds of ED and court to take bail. He used to think he is Shahenshah, now is nervous. I've already taken him to jail door. Attacking the Congress for questioning defence deals, the BJP stalwart stated, "Can any nation become a world power without strengthening its defence? Have Congress or any other 'mahamilavati' parties ever spoken about defence in their gatherings? They can't say anything on defence because of their history in this field."
