The conflict in the region has disrupted global energy markets and raised concerns over inflation, fuel supply and economic stability in several countries, including India.
Backing the Prime Minister’s appeal earlier, Fadnavis said many countries around the world are currently facing fuel shortages, inflation and supply-chain disruptions. He urged citizens to cooperate during difficult global conditions rather than dismiss such appeals.
“I believe it is the responsibility of every person to try and implement these measures in their own way. The Maharashtra government will also implement these measures in its own way. We are trying to do this,” the Chief Minister said. The Maharashtra government has also indicated that it plans to promote fuel conservation measures and sustainable transport practices in line with the Centre’s broader economic and energy-related messaging.
