Dilip Ghosh, West Bengal BJP Chief, Makes Bizarre Claim, Says 'Indian Cows Give Milk Mixed With Gold'

Burdwan, November 5: West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party Chief Dilip Ghosh made a bizarre claim on Monday that cows in the country produce milk mixed with gold. Ghosh said, “Indian breed of cows has a special characteristic, there is gold mixed in its milk.” The West Bengal BJP chief further added that that is why colour of their milk is slightly yellow. Ghosh also claimed that Cow's navel helps in producing gold with the help of sunshine. Dilip Ghosh, West Bengal BJP Chief, Attacked Along With Several Party Workers by Group of People at Lake Town.

He said, “If we drink milk from local cows, we will become healthy.” Speaking on the occasion of “Gopa Ashtami” in Burdwan, Ghosh stated that the foreign breed of cows do not sound like cows, they are just a beast. Ghosh said, "Only desi cows are our mother and not the videshi ones are our aunties.”

The West Bengal BJP Chief further added, “If anyone misbehaves with my mother, I will them the way they should be treated.” Ghosh also attacked "few intellectuals" for having beef on roads and asked them to consume dog meat at their homes. Ghosh said, “Few intellectuals eat beef on roads. I tell them to eat dog meat too. Their health will be fine whichever animal they eat, but why on roads? Eat at your home.”

This is not the first time that Ghosh made controversial remarks on various issues. In September, Ghosh had claimed that "bribe" worth Rs 2 lakh was being offered to prove people were committing suicides in West Bengal due to National Register of Citizens (NRC). In 2017 also, Ghosh threatened a senior police officer. In the same year, he sparked another controversy when he party workers to beat policemen if they hesitate to take action against Trinamool Congress supporters.
