AsĀ many as 371 candidates are in fray for the 26 Lok Sabha seats in the state.Ā Polling in all the 26 parliamentary constituencies in Gujarat were held in a single phase on April 23. Polling in the state was held in the third of the seven-phased elections.Ā TheĀ third phase of Lok Sabha polls saw the largest-ever deployment of electronic voting machines (EVMs) and voter-verifiable paper audit trail (VVPAT) machines across 2.11 lakh polling stations spread over 13 states and 2 Union Territories, the Election Commission (EC) said.

In Kutch,Ā BJP has fielded Vinod Lakhamashi Chavda, while the Congress has given a ticket to Naresh Naranbhai Maheshwari from Kachchh. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has given its ticket to Lakhubhai Vaghela from Kachchh.
InĀ Banaskantha, the BJPĀ has fielded Parbat Patel, dropping sitting MP Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary while the Congress has fielded Parthibhai Bhatol from this constituency.
In Patan, the keyĀ candidates in the constituency for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 are Dabhi Bharatsinhji Shankarji of BJP and Jagdish Thakor of the Congress party.
InĀ Mahesana, there is a tough fight betweenĀ Shardaben Anilbhai Patel of BJP, A J Patel of the Congress party and Chauhan Prahladbhai Natthubhai of the BSP.
InĀ Sabarkantha, the key candidates are BJP'sĀ Dipsinh Shankarsinh Rathod and Rajendrasinh Shivsinh Thakor of the Congress party.
