Lok Sabha Elections 2019: The counting of votes for the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha Constituency began at 8 am today. The results of the Parliamentary seat in Haryana were declared by Thursday, May 23 evening. Nayab Singh of the BJP won this seat. Voting took place for the Kurukshetra seat in Haryana in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 on May 12.

The candidates for the Kurukshetra Parliamentary seat are Arjun Singh Chautala of the INLD, Nayab Singh of the BJP and Nirmal Singh of the Congress among others. The last date for filing nomination for the Kurukshetra seat was April 23. The last date for withdrawal of nomination was April 26. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the Kurukshetra seat for the first time ever in Lok Sabha Elections 2014. BJP's Raj Kumar Saini defeated Balbir Singh Saini of the INLD in 2014 polls. Raj Kumar Saini is the sitting MP from this seat in Haryana.

The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will take place across India between April 11 and May 23. While voting will take place for 543 Lok Sabha seats in seven phases between April 11 and May 19, the counting of votes will take place on May 23.
