Abhijeet Dipke Says BJP Should Listen to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leader Abhijeet Dipke on Sunday criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party, alleging that the ruling party has begun to believe it has grown bigger than the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Dipke said the BJP should pay attention to the views of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, particularly on inclusivity and the treatment of young protesters, TOI reported.

Dipke said he had been arguing that the BJP should listen to Bhagwat. He alleged that after 12 years in power and with several government agencies under its control, the BJP had started considering itself more influential than the RSS. According to Dipke, the BJP came to power with the organisational support of the RSS and should not ignore its ideological mentor.

PM Modi’s ‘Dimagi Naxal’ Remark

Dipke contrasted that position with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s use of the term “dimagi naxal” while referring to protesters. He said the difference indicated that the Prime Minister was not following Bhagwat’s advice. He argued that while the RSS chief was speaking about inclusivity and respect for young people, such language from political leaders was not appropriate.

CJP’s Political Ambitions

Dipke also responded to comments by climate activist Sonam Wangchuk about possible political ambitions among CJP leaders. Wangchuk had reportedly said that having political ambitions was not necessarily wrong, while also describing some CJP leaders as talented and honest in their conduct during the recent agitation. Dipke said Wangchuk’s comments had been presented in a distorted manner.

Dipke added that neither he nor others could predict what a person might choose to do politically in the future. He also urged people not to place “blind faith” in any individual.

Wider BJP-RSS Debate

Dipke’s remarks come amid a wider public discussion over the relationship between the BJP and the RSS and differences in their positions on issues involving young protesters and Hindu-Muslim relations.

While the BJP and RSS remain closely associated ideologically, Dipke has repeatedly used Bhagwat’s public statements to criticise the BJP and Prime Minister Modi. His latest comments were made in response to questions from reporters in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The BJP and RSS have not immediately responded to Dipke’s latest allegations.
