The electrifying election battle which lasted for 71 days has come to a draw, with the results of Lok Sabha elections 2019 expected to be out by today. The Election Commission of India (ECI) is scheduled to begin the counting of votes from 8 am onwards. The result of all seven phases which were held between April 11 and May 19 in 543 constituencies spread across 29 states and 7 union territories is awaited. The early trends are expected to be out by 8:30 am. The first insight would be out after the Election Commission concludes the first round of counting of votes. Clear facts would emerge at around noon. Reports claim that the Gadchiroli seat in Maharashtra will be the first to know its winner - at 1 pm - as only 5 candidates are in the fray. The fewer the number of candidates, the results will be out earlier, a polling officer was reported as saying.
