Kolkata, June 5: Amid political chaos in West Bengal post-Lok Sabha Elections 2019, state Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday warned the Bharatiya Janata Party that it will have to soon pay for 'tampering EVMs'. The above comments were made by Banerjee at a huge gathering on Eid here in her six-minute speech.

Roaring from her political bastion, the TMC chief said, as reported by Hindustan Times, "When the sun comes up, it is initially very hot. But it cools down fast. The manner in which they tampered EVMs, it is certain that they will also go down very soon." Mamata Banerjee's Nephew Abhishek Attacks BJP, Says 'TRP of 'Jai Shri Ram' Sliding Down'.

Addressing the gathering of few thousand Muslims at Red Road in the Maidan area where a mass namaz is organised during Eid every year, Banerjee stated, "Jo humse takrayega, choor choor ho jayega (those challenging us (TMC) will be demolished)."

The relations between TMC and BJP bittered after the duo clashed with each other in a straight battle in Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Following the poor performance of TMC in polls, many party leaders joined BJP and now the bitterness is growing strong with each passing day.
