Panaji, March 13: The Panaji CCP Election Results 2026 have delivered a decisive victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-backed panel led by local leader Babush Monserrate, enabling the party to retain control of the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP). Despite the BJP’s dominant showing, the Ami Panjekar panel managed a few key breakthroughs. Jack Ajit Sukhija narrowly won Ward 17, defeating BJP’s Dennis Edward Francis Jorge by just two votes. Additionally, Leonid Furtado secured Ward 7, providing one of the few wins for the opposition-backed panel.
