Kishor joined Janata Dal (United) on September 16, 2018. The poll strategist's first major poll campaign was helping Prime Minister Narendra Modi, them Chief Minister of Gujarat get re-elected for the third time in the 2012 Gujarat Assembly Elections. He also had a major role on BJP absolute majority in the Lok Sabha elections 2014.
