Bhopal, December 11: The counting of votes has begun for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections 2018. The complete results and winners lists are expected to be declared by early evening today. Voting for the 230-seat Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha was held on November 28. We are bringing you updates on the results of six MP Vidhan Sabha seats - Rajpur, Pansemal, Badwani, Alirajpur, Jobat, Jhabua. The exit polls for Madhya Pradesh have been a mixed bag. While some exit polls predicted a victory for the BJP, others have predicted at the Congress winning the MP Assembly polls. Rajpur (ST) Assembly Seat
The Rajpur (ST) seat was won by Balaram Bachchan of the Congress. Bachchan, who also won polls on this seat in 1993 and 1998, has been fielded by the Congress this election as well, against BJP's Antarsingh, BSP's Vinit Sengar and AAP's Umrawsingh Baghel.
Pansemal (ST) Assembly Seat
The Pansemal (ST) seat was won by Diwan Singh Patel of the BJP in 2013. Patel has been fielded by the party this election as well. Patel is up against Chandrabhaga Gangadas of the Congress, Durga Ratan of the BSP and Parmanand Cheema of AAP.
Badwani (ST) Assembly Seat
The Badwani (ST) seat was won by Ramesh Patel of the Congress. Patel has been fielded by the party this election as well, against BJP's Prem Singh, who won the election on this seat in 2008. The BSP has fielded Sumer Singh Badole here.
Alirajpur (ST) Assembly Seat
The Alirajpur (ST) seat has been with Nagar Singh Chouhan of the BJP since 2003. Before Chouhan, Magan Singh Patel of the Congress won this seat five times. Chouhan has been fielded by the BJP this election too, against Mukesh Patel of the Congress and Bhadiya Dawar of the BSP.
Jobat (ST) Assembly Seat
The Jobat (ST) seat has been won twice by Madho Singh Dawar of the BJP in 2003 and 2013. The party has fielded Dawar yet again against Kalawati Bhuriya of the Congress and Madhu Singh Chouhan of the BSP.
Jhabua (ST) Assembly Seat
The Jhabua (ST) seat was won by Shantilal Bilwal of the BJP in 2013. The party has this election fielded Gumansingh Damor on this seat against Dr. Vikrant Bhuriya of the Congress and Balu Ninama of the BSP.
