Toll plazas being vandalised by VIPs have become a common sight in the country. Now and then, there are incidents reported that a legislator, a lawmaker, or a VIP has been involved in vandalising a toll booth. In the latest episode, Kerala’s Independent MLA PC George was seen breaking a stop barrier installed at a toll plaza at Paliyekkara, on Tuesday.

The MLA in his statement has said that his car was not allowed to pass despite the ‘MLA Board’ installed on the vehicle. This miffed PC George and he along with his aides damaged the stop barrier at the toll booth. The MLA is not new to such unprecedented controversies. Last year in February, the MLA had slapped a canteen employee for delivering food late.

As seen in the video, it suggests that the toll plaza was vandalised by PC George and his aides. The delay annoyed the MLA, who is visibly angry in the video and he showed no remorse while breaking the stop barrier stationed at the Paliyekkara toll plaza.

The Kerala MLA PC George was travelling to Kochi from Thrissur in his luxury car, on Monday night, when the incident happened. The toll plaza, which is manned by workers from different states knew little about the storm that was about to occur.

The employees working there said that they were facing some difficulties due to which the passage was delayed. However, the police have said that no case has been registered as the toll plaza had not filed any complaint.
