VD Satheesan Net Worth:

According to the affidavit, Satheesan and his wife, Lakshmipriya, jointly own movable and immovable assets valued at around INR 6.69 crore. The filing shows that Satheesan declared movable assets worth INR 53.82 lakh, while his wife’s movable assets were valued at INR 68.45 lakh.

Their declared assets include cash holdings, bank deposits, gold and shares. Satheesan reported holding INR 64,000 in cash, along with bank shares worth INR 25,000 and ownership of 35 grams of gold. Property and Vehicle Details

The affidavit further stated that Satheesan’s immovable assets, including land and residential property, are valued at approximately INR 2.42 crore. These properties include inherited and self-purchased land located in Paravoor and Nettoor.

His wife has inherited land assets valued at around INR 1.85 crore. The filing also mentioned that the family owns a car valued at INR 9.61 lakh in the name of their daughter.

Loans and Liabilities

On the liabilities side, Satheesan declared loans and financial liabilities amounting to around INR 24 lakh. These include housing and vehicle loans. His wife separately declared liabilities worth INR 17.45 lakh.

The Congress-led United Democratic Front secured a major victory in the Kerala Assembly elections, winning 102 out of 140 seats and returning to power after a decade. The ruling Left Democratic Front won 35 seats in the Assembly elections.

Following the electoral victory, attention shifted to the Congress leadership’s decision on the next Chief Minister, with supporters of several senior leaders lobbying for the position.

Although sections within the Congress leadership were believed to be considering KC Venugopal for the role, Satheesan eventually emerged as the preferred choice among party workers, alliance leaders and supporters who associated him with the UDF’s political resurgence in Kerala.
