In the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections 2014, Asnkitham Venkata Bhanoji Rao of the Congress had won the election from Visakhapatnam East seat. The candidates on this seat for the 2019 polls are Vajjiparthi Srinivasa Rao of the Congress, Akkaramani Vijaya Nirmala of the YSRCP, Ramakrishna Babu Velagapudi of the TDP and Sree Satya Murthy Vamaraju of the BJP among others.

The Visakhapatnam North seat was won in 2014 AP Assembly Polls by Penmetsa Vishnu Kumar Raju of the BJP, who will be fighting the election this year as well. The other candidates for the 2019 polls on this seat are Gompa Govinda Raju of the Congress, Ganta Srinivasa Rao of the TDP and Kammila Kannaparaju (KK Raju) of the YSRCP.

The Visakhapatnam South seat was won in 2014 by Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar of the TDP, who will be fighting the 2019 polls too. The other candidates for 2019 are Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao of the YSRCP, Koppala Ram Kumar of the BJP and Hyder Ali Sinka of the Congress.

The Visakhapatnam West seat was won in 2014 by PGVR Naidu (Gana Babu) of the TDP, who will be fighting the 2019 polls too. The other candidates for 2019 Andhra Assembly poll on this seat are Budda Chandra Sekhar of the BJP, Bhagat Piridi of the Congress and Vijay Prasad Malla of the YSRCP among others.

The Vizianagaram seat was won in 2014 by Geetha Meesala of the TDP. The candidates this election are Veera Bhadra Swamy Kolagatla of the YSRCP, Aditi Vijayalakshmi Gajapathi Raju Pusapati of the TDP, Satish Kumar Sunkari of the Congress and Kusumanchi Subba Rao of the BJP among others.

Along with Andhra Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Polls, voting will also be held for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 in the state on April 11. The counting of votes will be held on May 23.
