New Delhi, July 20: No sooner did Rahul Gandhi start his speech on the no-confidence motion in Lok Sabha, laughter ripped through in the assembly house. In the middle of his statement, Rahul mispronounced the Hindi word "bahar" and says "baar" instead. His statement implied that the PM goes to a bar, a place where alcohol and other beverages are sold. The gaffe made everyone, including PM Modi, crack up.  Figuratively, the Congress chief intended to say that PM Modi "Bahaar jate hai, " which means PM Modi visits foreign countries and therefore, is unable to address the nation's grievous issues.

In a similar manner, Rahul committed another Hindi faux pas and said that "Pradhanmantri apni aankh meri aankh mein nahi daal sakte," which again caused another laughter riot, where PM Modi and other MPs also couldn't stop themselves. It's a well-known fact that Rahul Gandhi has always drawn a lot of flak for speaking Hindi incorrectly. His use of words has always brought the embarrassment to the Congress party.

While other issues for the motion also include increasing instances of mob lynching, social conflict and demonitisation, unemployment, etc.
