Jaipur, June 30:Ā In another incident of ā€˜political arroganceā€™, a son of Bharatiya Janata Partyā€™s (BJP) Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) allegedly thrashed a driver for not allowing him to pass through. On June 1, Raja, the son of Rajasthanā€™s Banswara MLA Dhan Singh Rawat blocked the way of Maruti Suzuki Swift and then beat the driver of the car in Banswaraā€™s Vidyut colony. TheĀ entire incident was captured in CCTV.

The MLAā€™s son wasĀ driving a Mahindra Scorpio. . In the CCTV footage, it could be clearly seen that Raja overtook the swift. After blocking its way, the MLAā€™s son came out of his Scorpio. He dragged the driver out of the car and started slapping him.Ā  According to ANI, Raja attacked the driver because the driver did not allow Rajaā€™s car to pass through.Ā Rajaā€™s men also damaged the car.Ā Ā The traffic was disrupted due toĀ the violence.

On Thursday, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers thrashedĀ a manager of Pune PVR over the high price of food items being sold there. The entire incident was caught on camera. The workers were also carrying banners protesting against overpriced items sold in PVRs.

Similarly, In May this year,Ā  Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leader Sunil Rohta and his supporters thrashed a petrol pump salesmanĀ on Karnal Highway. They beat the salesman of not filling up his fuel tank for the amount he paid. The leader also threatened the salesman for not telling anyone about the incident.
