Uttar Pradesh, September 21: Another shocking case of honour killing has come to the front and this time from Uttar Pradesh. According to a Times Now report, after three years of getting married, a man was allegedly killed by the woman's brothers. The matter came to light after the woman registered an FIR and local police found his body buried inside a sugar cane field. In another instance of an inter-caste marriage attack, a newly married couple was brutally attacked in Hyderabad by the girls' father, who chopped off the girl's hand and seriously injured her hand. As per reports, the girl is in a seriously injured state. The couple got secretly married after facing stiff opposition from the girl's family. On that fateful day, the accused called up his daughter and told her to come with her husband and meet him for reconciliation. The couple readily agreed to it, but when they came to meet the woman's father, the latter attacked the boy and his own daughter.

The above incident comes days after the gruesome honour killing case in Nalgonda, where the Dalit man was murdered right in front of her pregnant wife. The girl's father Maruti Rao, whom she had accused of being behind her husband's murder along with her uncle Shravan, was among those arrested in what turned out to be a case of contract killing of Rs one crore, Nalgonda police chief A V Ranganath said Tuesday.
