Black is a powerful colour in fashion. And a power suit in this shade is a winning combination. But three Bollywood beauties proved even a black pantsuit is no foolproof outfit choice. We are talking about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rani Mukerji and Disha Patani, who left us scratching our heads with their "fresh" take on this dominant fashion trend. You would not be surprised to see these three actresses make it to worst-dressed celeb list for this week, courtesy, their recent outings.
Rani Mukerji in Alexander McQueen
Beginning with Rani Mukerji, the 40-year-old has never been well-known for her sartorial choices. And, once again the talented actress proved why. Recently, filmmaker Karan Johar hosted a grand bash celebrating 20 years of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Rani who played Tina in the blockbuster film was one of the star attractions. Adhering to the dress code, which was black, Rani Mukerji attended the event in Alexander McQueen pantsuit. The ankle-length pant with matching lacy sleeves blazer proved to be a boring option for Rani.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna
Next is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Now, the former beauty queen has had a love-hate relationship with the fashion police. If she is on a song, the Fanney Khan actress would pleasantly surprise her fashion critics. And on bad days, expect the worst. In this case, it's the latter. Aishwarya has gone terribly wrong wearing the pantsuit with shimmery, netted sleeves while attending Tennis Premier League event in Mumbai. Be it the ill-fitting pants or the blazer that looks like short kurti, everything is a big fail.
Disha Patani in Louis Vuitton
Third and last is Disha Patani. Yes, Yes, Yes, the quintessential fashionista who has never failed to wow us with her impeccable taste in fashion too finds a place in this list. The 26-year-old Baaghi 2 actress was present for the Louis Vuitton store launch event in Delhi, and she decided to attend it wearing the same label. Disha picked a dark grey peplum jacket, which she teamed up with black track pants and lace-up sandals. However much Disha’s fans try and defend the actress’ choice of wearing track pants, we wish she had stuck to going with a pair of formal pants.
