Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was a charmer at the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival on the first day of her appearance. However, the second-day look isn't something we like or appreciate. Oh yes, the Cannes veteran has arrived for her second-day look and this time she has chosen a dramatic feathered number from Ashi Studio. But we have our issues with the gown.

At the red carpet of the Festival de Cannes, the diva strutted the ramp in a dramatic feathered gown by Ashi Studio. The actress completed her look by wearing gorgeous kohl eyes with shades of white around her eyes. Aishwarya also tied her hair up in a fancy but dull updo and wore basic strappy heels. To be quite honest, the look is totally drab. The gown itself is such a letdown. For the longest time, it was difficult for me to comprehend what kind of a gown or ensemble it is. And yes, whatever kind it may be, it is not a good one! Why would anyone let such a beauty walk the red carpet in that?

Sure, thigh-high slits and heavy feathery gowns have been the trend noticed this year at Cannes Film Festival. But Aishwarya could have opted for a better way to style that gown. Or rather just let it be on the rack of Ashi Studio, untouched. This makes us miss her previous day's red carpet appearance. The mermaid cut dramatic gown was such a wave of fresh air for an Aishwarya fan! And admirers in general. But today's look seems very lazy and not done tastefully. Hopefully. if there is a third look, it will be better than this one!
