Mumbai, August 14: Ahead of Independence Day 2019, Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, known popularly as CSMT has been lighted up in tricolour. The tradition is followed every year and this time the Mantralaya (assembly), BMC headquarters is also covered in lights of the Indian flag. India celebrates its Independence Day on August 15 every year. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, officially known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, was initially named the Victoria Terminus and is a historic terminal train station recognised as UNESCO World Heritage Site. On Thurday, August 15, 2019, India will celebrate the 73rd Independence Day.
