Relish pizzas, fries and more yummy food at a touch of a button while you are waiting for your train. Mumbai Central railway station has installed a food vending machine that delivers hygienic and tasty food. As reported in Times of India, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has collaborated with Bueno Insta Pizza Pvt Ltd (Yess Pizza) and Owl Tech Pvt Ltd (Freshly) for serving food from automatic vending machines. The automated machine is in the cafeteria of the station. Yess Pizza will serve pizzas, French fries, popcorn, ice cream and fresh fruit juices. Customers can make their own pizza by selecting the toppings and view the entire making process. The options are limited to vegetarian and are priced between Rs 180 to Rs 260. Store manager Abdul Hanif, from Yess pizza told The Indian Express, “Since we started, we have sold close to 40 to 45 pizzas on a daily basis, with maximum sales recorded between 7 pm to 9:30 pm.” The vending machine operates from 7 am till 11 pm all week. Bhopal Station Becomes a First to Have Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine 'Happy Nari'.

Freshly will serves packed meals of popular food brands in Mumbai. The food will be stored in the machine and will have a shelf-life of six to eight hours. The meals will be replaced in the machine twice a day. IRCTC spokesperson Pinakin Morawalla said, “As this is the first initiative of IRCTC, we will gauge its popularity and see where else it can be installed. It has received a decent response till now.” Now, you need not worry as you can enjoy tasty, fast and fresh meals at decent pricing.
