In a tragic accident at Kirti Chemicals Industries in Mandya, Karnataka, on Sunday, two people died and three others were injured after a chemical storage tank exploded. The incident occurred around 10 am, when workers attempted to open the tank cap with a gas cutter, igniting residual chemical vapours.
