A 13-year-old girl from Maharashtra's Palghar who ran away from home due to emotional distress over perceived parental favouritism, was safely traced by police near a dam area. The police launched a search operation and later provided counselling. The girl has been reunited with her family, and officials stressed the importance of emotional support for children.
