BJP is contesting the UP elections in alliance with Apna Dal and Nishad Party. Meanwhile, the SP formed an alliance with the Rashtriya Lok Dal, the Nationalist Congress Party, the Apna Dal (Kamerawadi), the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, and the Janwadi Party.
