Amazon is reportedly planning to reduce the number of jobs; however, it will affect the Wondery podcast business this time. The upcoming round of Amazon layoffs will slash 110 jobs from the Wondery company, and CEO Jen Sargent will also step down from his role. Amid the rising demand for podcasts in the US, the company will make necessary changes in the business.
