Bengaluru, November 17: In a shocking incident of ragging, Bengaluru cops forced a suspect to dance of a Telugu song on the pretext of releasing him. The video of the entire incident went viral on social media. The incident was reported from Kolar district of Karnataka. In the video, it could be seen that a sub-inspector is forcing an accused to dance on the Telugu song of Pawan Kalyan’s movie Gabbar Singh. Meanwhile, other cops present inside the police station shot the video of the incident.

The policemen could also be heard in the video asking the suspect to dance. The cops were reported to be in a drunk state. Senior officials have ordered an inquiry into the incident. In a similar incident, a constable in Uttar Pradesh Police, posted with the UP100 service in Hathras, was suspended after he sodomised a minor inside a police station for several days. The incident took place in the Chamad Gate police station between September 9 and October 1. The victim is an orphan and was working at a roadside eatery when Constable Sanjesh Yadav, 45, operating on PRV 1119 went there to eat and befriended him. He brought the boy to the police station and physically abused him on many occasions, the boy has alleged.
