Weddings are supposed to be a joyful event for every individuals. Family and closest friends are gathered as the bride and groom share their special day. The wedding dress, venue, food, songs, beautiful bridal entries and every detail are significant to make the auspicious day a memorable one. However, it does not always happen the way you plan for it and some wedding days are marked by unspeakable tragedy. Much like in a recent nuptial ceremony where the bridal entry horribly went wrong! The dreadful moment was captured in a video which shows a helicopter that was carrying the bride burst into flames in the vineyard north of Sao Paulo, Brazil as it smashed into the ground on May 5, 2018.

A Brazilian news site, Globo reported that the helicopter was carrying four people that included the bride, a child and a photographer. They further informed that the helicopter may have hit a building causing it to smash. The footage of the horrific incident shows the burning remains of the helicopter. Thankfully, the four people on board, including the pilot, survived the crash with minor injuries while the bride suffered no wounds and the ceremony went ahead. The fire department shared the picture of the wreckage with guests in the background.

Castelo dos Vinhais, the venue confirmed to Mirror that it was the bride and groom’s choice to continue with the wedding ceremony. One of the guests said that the helicopter lost its control and ‘fell’ to the ground just before landing. Despite the accident, the couple apparently exchanged their vows at the vineyard while the wreck of the helicopter was smoking behind them. Last year too, a similar incident took place where the bride along with three other passengers were killed in Brazil as the helicopter crashed a few kilometers from the ceremony.
