Bhopal, February 25: In a bizarre incident, a man bit a venomous snake and killed it to death. As per reports, the incident took place on Saturday at Pacher village in Sabalpur tehsil in Morena, Madhya Pradesh. As per reports by PTI, the man was heavily drunk was lucky enough to escape the fatal incident, as the snake was a poisonous one. Doctors who treated the man said the snake was a venomous one and he was lucky to have survived, the report said.

The man has been identified that Jalim Singh Kushwaha.  According to a PTI report, Doctor Raghvendra Yadav of the district hospital said that Kushwaha was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state. He was discharged on Saturday after treatment. The villagers informed that Kushwaha saw a black-coloured snake at his farm and bit the snake. They said that the snake died a little while later.

The Doctor further informed that that Kushwaha might have panicked and lost consciousness after he realised that he had bit a snake. "It was venomous and if it had retaliated or if any portion of its venom had entered his bloodstream, it could have been fatal for Kushwaha," Dr Yadav was quoted by PTI.

Earlier this week, a similar incident was reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi area where a man bit off a snake’s head and chewed it before spitting it out. The man identified as Sonelal, claimed that he did it for revenge as the snake had bitten him. As per reports, the man fell unconscious and was rushed to a community health centre and survived the fatal incident.
