Speaking to the Indian Express, Singh said that the video is 100 per cent original and went on to dismiss claims of the clip being AI-generated. Karanbir Singh said that he visited the pani puri (golgappa) stall with his challenger, whose name he did not reveal. The duo had visited the street stall as part of a bet in which the creator promised to pay INR 50 for every pani puri his friend ate. Narrating the rodent incident, Singh said that the rat appeared midway through the challenge and jumped out of the spiced water before running off.
Singh also revealed the action they took after spotting a rat in the pani puri water. "I forced him to throw that water and he threw," he added. Singh further clarified that no other customers were present at the time of the incident. "There was no one else except me and my challenger for that video," he said. Meanwhile, the content creator has refused to reveal the name of the city where the incident took place. As clarified by Karanbir Singh, the incident is true, and the video is 100 per cent original.
