A video going viral on the social media shows a car being driven with a young boy 'skiing' closely behind sitting on a tyre attached as a trolley. The video which was widely shared on Chinese social media Weibo also grabbed the attention of the police there. Clearly violating traffic rules, the car can be seen going zigzag on an empty road. The footage was being driven by a man who let his son sit on a tyre attached to the vehicle so he could feel like skiing.

Social media users called the act a dangerous one and complete violation of traffic laws. According to CGTN, the police commented on the same video saying that the driver had "seriously violated" the traffic and road safety laws. Their comment read, "The driver has seriously violated the Traffic and Road Safety Law." The incident happened in the Handan City of China. As the video went viral, police initiated an investigation into it. Fine for Giving Lift to Strangers & Carpooling Case: Mumbai Traffic Police Constable Transferred for Using The Law at a Wrong Situation.

Reportedly, the incident happened on February 14. While the video may look harmless, it involves high risk. It seems the father and son were having a joy ride together and did not realise they were in clear violation of traffic laws. It is advised not to follow any similar stunts. On Monday, a case was registered against the driver. It is not sure what type of punishment will be given to the traffic rule violator.
