On Saturday, ace wicket-keeper and batsman and former captain of Indian cricket team, MS Dhoni celebrated his 37th birthday with friends and family in England. Dhoni celebrated his birthday by cutting cake alongside his wife Sakhi and daughter Ziva and his fellow Indian team players. Captain cool was also reminded by his daughter that he was getting ‘older’ in a birthday song sang by Ziva. The video was posted by official twitter handle of the BCCI. As expected, Dhoni was wished by his former and current teammates with adorable wishes posted online. But Hardik Pandya went a step ahead and wished Dhoni by giving him a special haircut. Hardik took to his social media account to share the picture.

Both Dhoni and Pandya are currently in England for the opening three-match T20I series. The series is even at 1-1 after England won the second game by five wickets. The third and final game is set to be played in Bristol on Sunday. Hardik known for his quirky hairstyles thought of doing something special for Dhoni on his birthday. And what better way to make a birthday memorable than a personal touch from a dear fellow player.

Hardik captions the image by writing: “Special day calls for a special haircut. Here’s my birthday gift for the one and only @mahi7781. This stunt is performed by an expert, don’t try this at home.” This must be one of the sweetest gift Dhoni would have received on his birthday. In a recent chat show, Pandya also revealed that he loves cutting hair. When asked to rank hairstyles of fellow team mates Hardik has given MS Dhoni a 10 on 10.

Despite the disappointment on Friday, the visitors are still in contention for their sixth consecutive T20I series win which is part of an unbeaten run stretching back to September 2017. The last time India lost a bilateral T20I contest was against West Indies in July 2017.
