Sharing the viral clip on X (formerly Twitter), Goenka wrote, "Again, a group of Gujaratis singing loudly on a public bus in Germany has sparked a debate." He further said that he loves Gujarati joie de vivre but warned that when abroad, we all are ambassadors of India. "We must respect local etiquette and fellow passengers or risk making Indian tourists unwelcome,” he wrote. In the past too, Harsh Goenka has shared such video to raise awareness. In June this year, Goenka sparked a conversation after he said that the "civic sense of Indians seriously needs to be upgraded". His comment came after he recalled a Swiss hotel's special rules for Indian guests and criticised viral incidents involving Indians abroad. "A Swiss hotel once displayed a list of special rules exclusively for Indian guests, which I personally saw and was appalled by," he said.
