Rashid Ahmed said that this was being done on the call of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan to express solidarity with Kashmir people. He also urged all Pakistan railway employees to gather in support of Kashmir issue.

On Wednesday, Rashid Ahmed had predicted a full-blow war between India and Pakistan. He said that both the countries are expected to go on a war in October or the following month.

Tensions between Islamabad and New Delhi spiked since India abrogated provisions of Article 370 of the Constitution which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated it into two Union Territories- Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.
