After the reports of Abhishek Bachchan joining Shah Rukh Khan's 'King' made waves last month, it has been reported that 'Munjya' star Abhay Verma will also set to join the action movie.
After having a phenomenal 2023 with Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan is now gearing u for his next film titled King. SRK, who was supposed to play a cameo in the film, will now be portrayed as the lead protagonist alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan. Now, as per the recent media reports, the Sujoy Ghosh directorial will feature also feature Munjya actor Abhay Verma. According to a report by Pinkvilla, "Abhay Verma has got a lot of appreciation for his performance in Munjya and the same isreflecting in the kind of offers coming his way. He has bagged a key role in King alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. He is excited to venture into this tentpole feature film." Last month, reports of Abhishek Bachhchan's casting also created a lot of buzz online. Siddharth Anand's Marflix Pictures will bankroll King.
