For the unversed, Akshay Kumar's film was previously titled The Great Indian Rescue, but was later renamed Mission Raniganj amid the India vs Bharat debate. The tagline now reads as The Great Bharat Rescue. The film will release on October 6.
The motion poster for Mission Raniganj is now out and looks promising! The teaser for the film will be out tomorrow, September 7. It will tell the story of the Great Bharat Rescue of 1989 that left the country with bated breath. 65 miners who were trapped in a flooded quarry awaited death. Until one man named Jaswant Singh Gill fought hard to rescue them, making it the first coal mine rescue in India. The film also stars Parineeti Chopra. Akshay Kumar is 'So So Proud' As Wife Twinkle Khanna Completes Her Master's Degree.
