James Darren passed away on September 2 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, reportedly in his sleep. The 88-year-old actor was renowned for his roles in TJ Hooker, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, as well as films like Gidget, The Guns of Navarone and Diamond Head. In addition to his acting career, Darren was also a talented singer and television director.
