Jimmy Buffett Dies at 76; Singer Was Best Known for Songs 'Margaritaville' and 'Come Monday'
Jimmy Buffett, born to the name James William Buffett, was also part of the Coral Reefer band. His music was best described as "island escapism". His devoted fans were referred to as Parrotheads.
Jimmy Buffett was a legendary musician known for hit songs like "Margaritaville", "A Pirate Looks at Forty", "Come Monday" and more. He unfortunately died at the age of 76, announced his family on social media. They wrote "Jimmy passed away peacefully on the night of September 1st surrounded by his family, friends, music and dogs".
