‘Most Radical Government’: Javier Bardem Denounces Israel for ‘Crimes Against Humanity’ at 2024 San Sebastian Film Festival (Watch Video)
Hollywood star Javier Bardem condemned the Israeli government for committing 'crimes against humanity' in the Gaza Strip while interacting with reporters at the 2024 San Sebastian Film Festival.
The whole world remains divided amidst the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine. Hollywood star Javier Bardem recently voiced support for the side he stands with. He denounced the Israeli government on Monday (September 20) for committing war crimes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Addressing the reporters at the 2024 San Sebastian Film Festival, the Hollywood star said, "What is happening in Gaza is totally unacceptable, terrible and dehumanising. The government of Israel is the most radical in the history. They are committing crimes against humanity and violating international laws. The October 7 Hamas attacks on Israel do not justify the punishment of Palestinians. Bardem also urged Western countries like the US and UK to reconsider their decisions to support Netanyahu's "radical government." Javier Barde was honoured with the Donostia Award at the film festival. ‘To a Woman Who I Love’: Javier Bardem’s Emotional Tribute to Wife Penélope Cruz Steals Hearts at 2024 San Sebastian Film Festival (Watch Video).
