Another day, another legal battle for Snoop Dogg! The rap icon has been recently sued for alleged copyright infringement over a viral TikTok video. Snoop posted the video to his Instagram in January 2024. According to the lawsuit, Bradford Perry, an animator who created an original video depicting how many animals humans consume yearly, raised the complaint. Perry had registered his work with the United States Copyright Office and is the "sole owner of the exclusive rights in the subject video." Perry is now seeking "statutory damages of up to Rs $30,000 per work infringed subject to a timely copyright registration or up to $150,000 for the willful infringement of Perry's artwork." ‘Houdini’ Out!
