Nari Hira, aged 86, the esteemed owner of Mumbai-based Magna Publishing Co Ltd, passed away on August 23, 2024. Hira's notable success began with the launch of Stardust magazine in 1971, which became his first and largest triumph. In a statement, his family shared, “It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of his passing, a pioneer in print media a family man and father beyond compare, he leaves us behind heartbroken in his absence.” Tributes and heartfelt condolences have poured in from prominent figures in journalism and advertising, including Shobhaa De and Khalid Mohamed.
