Thalapathy Vijay Slipper Throwing Incident: Police Complaint Filed Against Unidentified Person Over Attack on Leo Star at Vijayakanth Funeral
Fans expressed outrage after a slipper was thrown at Thalapathy Vijay as he was heading out after paying his final respects to his mentor Vijayakanth at his funeral. Now, a complaint has been raised against the unknown attacker at Koyambedu police station.
Soon after the demise of Tamil actor and politician Vijayakanth's demise, several celebrities visited the DMDK chief's residence to pay final respects to the star. Among them was Thalapathy Vijay, who came to bid farewell to his 'Captain'. Vijay was mobbed by a huge mob of fans and media persons. Making the already chaotic scenes worse, the actor was attacked by a slipper that was thrown at him. The incident left everyone deeply upset, and now a complaint has been filed by the South Chennai District Commander of Vijay People's Movement at the Koyambedu police station.
