After Udhayanidhi Stalin, A Raja Makes Controversial Remarks on Sanatan Dharma, Calls It 'Social Disgrace Like HIV and Leprosy' (Watch Video)

Amid the ongoing row over the Sanatan Dharma remark, DMK leader A Raja on Thursday courted fresh controversy when he equated the Sanatana Dharma row with "HIV and Leprosy". A video going viral on social media shows DMK leader and party's "Dalit" face, Andimuthu Raja, popularly known as A Raja, comparing Sanatan Dharma with HIV and Leprosy. Speaking at an event in Chennai, A Raja said, "Udaynidhi Stalin has spoken about Sanatan in a soft tone and compared it to Malaria, Dengue… But there is no social stigma to those, no abomination from the society. So, It should be seen as HIV or Leprosy… It should be seen like a social evil disease." Raja did not stop there and went on to challenge PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for an open debate. "You Come with 10 laks supporters or 1 crore consisting of Shankaracharya, priests with all your weapons to have a discussion on sanatana dharma with me in Delhi. I will face you only by having Periyar and Ambedkar books as my weapon...
