In a shocking incident in Maharashtra, a 13-year-old girl was raped by a 21-year-old man. The accused met the victim through social media. The accused took her to a place in Mumbai’s Andheri and raped her and later on took her to Gujarat and raped her again. When the girl returned home after a few days and told the family about the incident. Girl showed the picture of the man on Instagram and the family registered a complaint at Vakola Police Station. Case registered against the accused under sections 4, 8 and 12 of the kidnapping and POCSO Act. Accused has been arrested, the Mumbai Police stated.
