A cockroach was allegedly found in food served to a couple on Vande Bharat Express train on June 18. The incident took place with uncle and aunt of one Vidit Varshney who shared a picture of cockroach in food on X.
A user on X has alleged that a cockroach was found in food served to his uncle and aunt on Vande Bharat Express train. In his post on X, Vidit Varshney said his uncle and aunt were travelling from Bhopal to Agra via Vande Bharat Express train on June 18. He said they found a cockroach in food served to them by the IRCTC or Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation. He urged strict action against the vendor. Responding to his post, Railway Seva, the official handle of the Indian Railways to address passengers' concerns, requested Varshney to share PNR number and mobile number of affected passengers for further action.
