The Press Club of India (PCI) on Tuesday, October 3, expressed concern over the ongoing raids against journalists and writers associated with the media portal Newsclick. In a statement, the PCI said it stands in solidarity with journalists and writers who were raided and sought more details from the government. "We are monitoring the developments and will be releasing a detailed statement," it added. The special cell of Delhi Police conducted raids on journalists and writers associated with NewsClick and is searching offices and other locations linked with the news portal.
