26-year-old UPSC aspirant Nilesh Rai was tragically electrocuted near Patel Nagar Metro Station on Monday, July 23. The incident occurred around 2:43 PM when the man accidentally touched an iron gate that was electrically charged due to a nearby waterlogging issue. According to the Delhi Police, Rai's body was discovered hanging from the iron gate near his paying guest accommodation. Emergency services rushed him to RML Hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
