Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over the gavel of G 20 presidency to the President of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in the ongoing G20 Summit 2023 held in New Delhi on Sunday. Upon receiving the gavel, Lula da Silva congratulated PM Modi for efficiently leading the G20 bloc and for excellent work at the summit. He added that the UN Security Council needs new developing countries as permanent, non-permanent members to regain political strength.
